Michelle likes to go fast and is not afraid of taking a risk, which means she lives fast and hard and doesn't stop. Five years ago, a near fatal motorcycle accident left her on life support, with many broken bones, and with 75% of her right leg gone. She has since embraced the journey of recovery and has enjoyed relearning the things she loves to do. Michelle is the ultimate success story and has only excelled since her accident by becoming the first female Canadian Paralympic Snowboarder. According to Michelle, "Life is meant to be fun and thatȇs exactly how I'm living it."
